Arthur H. Belmont, LMFT

Face-to-Face or Online Counseling

Arthur H. Belmont is a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist who has been practicing psychotherapy since 1994. He received his M.S. degree in Counseling from California State University, Long Beach and his B.A. degree in Communications from Temple University. He is currently licensed to practice in both Florida and California.

Arthur has worked with youth and families in a wide variety of settings including: private practice; outpatient clinics; psychiatric and medical groups and hospitals; and adolescent residential settings.

LA Gay & Lesbian Center

Since 1971 the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center has been building the health, advocating for the rights and enriching the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people. Our wide array of services and programs includes: free HIV/AIDS care and medications for those most in need; housing, food, clothing and support for homeless LGBT youth; low-cost counseling and addiction-recovery services; essential services for LGBT-parented families and seniors; legal services; health education and HIV prevention programs; transgender services; cultural arts and much more.

Mama's Kitchen

At Mama’s Kitchen we believe that every person is entitled to the basic necessity of life, nutritious food. As a volunteer-driven, nonprofit organization, we prepare and deliver food to men, women and children who are affected by AIDS or cancer.

North County LGBT Coalition

The North County LGBT Coalition is a young non profit 501 (c)3 LGBT group in the North San Diego County. Our goal is to unite all the North County LGBT communities. We also put on the Annual Pride @ the beach! in October.

The North County LGBT Coalition is comprised of volunteers only. We do not have staff at this time, so please bear with us as we all have other jobs as well. We look forward to talking and working with each and everyone.

We are currently meeting the last Friday of the month at 6:00pm at locations to be determined.

PFLAG (Parents Family and Friends of Lesbians and Gays)

A non profit organization for support to cope with an adverse society, education to enlighten an ill informed public, advocacy to end discrimination and to secure equal civil rights for our LGBT loved ones and friends. We meet on the 4th Monday of every month at First United Methodist Church at 2231 Camino del Rio South, SD CA 92108 7-9PM.

San Diego LGBT Pride

Producers of the annual Pride Rally, Parade and Festival the third weekend in July. Also produces the Equality Torch Relay in October and numerous other programs and events throughout the year. Our Mission - Fostering pride in and respect for all lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities, locally and globally.

The Center

The mission of The San Diego LGBT Community Center is to enhance and sustain the health and well-being of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and HIV communities by providing activities, programs, and services that create community, empower community members, provide essential resources, advocate for civil and human rights, and embrace, promote and support our cultural diversity.
